God initiated a strategy to reach the world – the Church! Because of that, 10/40 Connections seeks to plant churches among the least reached, who will then bless their communities and demonstrate the peace and the power that Jesus offers. Sustainable change takes place through planting churches.

The fastest growing churches in the 10/40 Window meet in homes. House churches represent the primary New Testament model and they still multiply the church powerfully 2,000 years later. Read more about church planting movements in the Bible.

10/40 works in partnership with indigenous ministries to plant churches and to see church planting movements take place among least reached people groups. With training, tools, and tangible strategies, we incorporate church planting into every 10/40 project. Fighting the injustice of human trafficking leads to church planting. Installing water wells, cataract surgeries, teaching, literature, sports clinics, and short-term teams – they all lead to church planting because God cares for the whole person, not only their physical bodies.

Also, 10/40 devotes energy and resources to equip both women and men to multiply the church. We are blessed to equip both men and women as church planters. Since 2007, we have equipped more than 4,000 planters who labor in 50+ people groups. God smiles as the laborers multiply and the harvest is gathered.

Because we value and understand the sensitivities of local culture, we and our partners simply share stories of God’s goodness through Jesus. Most people have never heard the good news that the Most High God, whose name is Jesus, loves them so much.

• Then they hear that their dirty hearts can be made clean.
• They hear that the demonic spirits bothering them can be cast out in Jesus’ name.
• They hear that the blood of goats or chickens cannot remove their unclean thoughts, words, and actions.
• They hear that Jesus is the full and final sacrifice.

Then they realize that they and their family want this Good News. Their hearts burn within them and they want to know more. They want to share more. They want their spouse, their children, their neighbors to experience the peace and harmony that Jesus brings, since he is the Prince of Peace.
