FINANCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY

Transparency and Integrity

The board of 10/40 Connections meets two times every year to oversee and evaluate the results of operations and ministry accomplishments, establish policies and procedures, and approve and review budgets. An independent CPA firm compiles and reviews our financial statements. Copies of our annual financial statements, 990 informational return, and conflict of interest policy are available upon request.

10/40 Connections is a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (www.ecfa.org).

ECFA’s mission states: “ECFA is committed to helping Christ-centered organizations earn the public’s trust through developing and maintaining standards of accountability that convey God-honoring ethical practices.” ECFA serves as an accreditation agency dedicated to helping Christian ministries earn public trust through adherence to “Seven Standards of Responsible Stewardship.” ECFA’s seven standards focus on board governance, financial transparency, integrity in fundraising, and proper use of charity resources.
