EMPOWER CHILDREN IN CAMBODIA SCHOOL
In Cambodia, many children fall prey to human trafficking who live trapped in deep poverty. Poverty offers little hope for a better future, especially if the children receive little to no education. Educated children have a future hope and are MUCH less likely to become targets of traffickers.
Over the past two years we have worked with our partners in Cambodia to determine the need, location, design, and construction needs for a school in the western area of Cambodia.
2016 CONSTRUCTION PROGRESS
In 2016 the construction should be complete and fully-functioning with Christian teachers who love and teach the children well. The school will serve 500 children daily. Along with education, the children gain access to the saving knowledge of Jesus.
For those of you who have already given and prayed for this effort, we want to express a big “THANK YOU!” Know that you have helped prevent the trafficking of children by partnering with us in this effort.
We look forward to updating the construction project this year.
All funds have been raised for the construction of this building. If you would like to know more about this project or how to support on-going teacher training, please contact us.
Jesus said, "Pray the Lord to send out laborers, for the harvest is plentiful, but he workers are few." That is the mission of 10/40 Connections – to follow the example of Jesus by connecting the body of Christ, equipping believers, and engaging the least reached.
