Trips of Salvation… Not in Part, but the Whole

The Greek word “sozo” is an awesome little word. According to Matthew 1:21, Jesus will “save his people from their sins.” Its Hebrew equivalent is “yasha” from which we get Yeshua (Jesus). However the concept of sozo involves not only “salvation” from sins, but healing the entire person – physically, emotionally, and spiritually. 

10/40 Sozo Teams aim toward full restoration with God, with others, with the world, and with oneself.

We are looking for people who desire to share the Gospel with boldness and humility in culturally appropriate ways in a different cultural atmosphere. 10/40’s Sozo teams engage in prayer walking, relationship evangelism, and engage in word and deed ministries. Like all of our teams, Sozo is NOT for the fainthearted! You will be stretched! You will be blessed, and you will be a blessing!

Sozo trips usually last from 9-14 days. We are not offering any Sozo teams in 2016 due to restructuring, but will resume hosting a couple of teams a year in 2017. Check back later to find out new dates or join our mailing list and we will notify you.

Church Partner Vision Trips

Periodically, we offer vision trips for our partnering churches. 10/40 Vision Trips allow our partners to grasp part of God’s vision of the unreached areas in a personal way. Teams will prayer-walk, meet with our indigenous partners, and engage in word and deed ministries. Teams will spend time debriefing and discussing possible points of connection with their local churches. Vision teams are led by Chad/Leslie, the co-founders of 10/40 Connections.
